Armeg Acceler8 Holesaw

Bit on the pricey side but they are great holesaws and with theirs compact size are ideal. They leave a perfect hole every time with next to no burs

I use the Armeg 20, 25 and 32mm cutters daily. Last for ages as long as you don't put to much pressure on them. Fast clean cuts everytime. Grommets fit into the holes like a dream! Highly recommended.

Fantastic cutting properties actually used it to cut a hole through a steel girder after watching a plumber burning out numerous standard hole cutters the acceler8 flew through a great bit of kit well worth the extra money

Great quality and cuts very well. I use these for cutting thin metal on fuseboards etc and has lasted for years. They are a bit more money than some otehrs on the market but well worth the extra money.

These are great holesaws for any sheet metal. They cut quick and clean. If used properly they last a while too. One of the better ones on the market

Very good holesaws but i find the blunt rather too quickly for the price you pay. Although a bit of cutting fluid does make them last a good while longer. I would definitely buy these holesaws again. Very sharp when new.

Have a couple of these and have found the 32mm one to be much better than the 20mm. For some reason the 20mm one went blunt very quickly but the 32mm is still going strong. The cut a really neat hole as well shame the 20mm one went blunt.

In my experience these are way overpriced. Bought a set of three and my 20mm went completely blunt on the second hole. Maybe I got a dodgy batch but I will not be buying these again, really thought I would be getting better quality for the price they are.

These are great little holesaws, super sharp and the little spring is actually quite robust I expected it to fall out after the first cut but actually does its job very well, the offcut doest always fall out but the spring stops it going all the way down and is easy to get out

Simply the best holesaw set you will buy fast tidy cuts I have always got these in my bag and the short size makes them easy to get into tight spots

Decent bit of kit. A touch pricey but easy to use. Can also be used in a impact driver. I like the spring to release the cut section. I think you can also get spare parts for them.

Price of these holesaw’s are pricey but makes life easier and not having to worry about catching cables when using them to cutting holes in distribution boards
Gives a nice clean cut and cuts fast
Could do with replaceable drill bits as the holesaw tends to last a while but the drill bit tends to snap first

I bought the piece set of these hole cutters in a set with auger bits and sds bits thought the set was a little on the high side with regards to the price until I got to use these hold saws they’re fantastic for cutting out holes on consumer units

The sds bits and auger bits are first class too, but this review is about the hole saws can’t fault how quickly they cut through the metal consumer units

Pricey but does the job well. I use a 20mm one for cutting holes in surface mounted boxes for conduit and my only negative criticism is that the hole created always has a red ring due to the paint coming off the body. I suppose eventually the paint will all come off and it won’t happen then! There’s no need for it to be painted. Bit of a design flaw if you ask me.

Got the box set with 20/25/32mm cutters as I was looking for some decent hole saws for drilling fuse boards . These cut clean and quick with no burrs . The grommets fit smoothly into the holes . I have now brought the 40mm and the are my go to cutters for metal

What a good strong and easy to use whole saw. Is super useful for drilling out boxes with a smooth edge after. Theyre not cheap but if you can get them I would highly recommend them sepecialt if your working on distribution boards.

These are by far the best holesaws I have used! The springs are a great little feature for removing the pieces that you have cut out without damaging your screwdrivers

Brilliant products, I use them almost daily for cutting trunking, the tops of distribution boards and isolators etc etc, I find that they leave a cleaner cut than most rivals and that they are extremely faster! Great product and will definitely carry on using

These little hole saws are brilliant for drilling neat holes out in thin metals and plastic. I have been a long time user of starrett holesaws but when it comes to drilling out holes in trunking, boxes and panels I’ll 100% use on of these instead! Last a decent amount of time too so long as you look after them.

These are the bees knees. Had one of these hole saw sets for a few years now and they are second to none. Nice clean holes, great build quality and as long as you look after them and aren’t drilling concrete they will last you a life time.

These are my go to hole saws now, I use to swear by starrett but these are amazing, I let the weight of the gun push down to cut the steel and the saw cuts tho right no problems, sometimes the cut out doesn’t eject but I’ve found a little bit of lubricant on the drill and spring works wonders!

I recently used a couple of these for a steel framed stud wall and found them pretty good. The spring didn’t quite do the job but they coped with the job quite well.

Brilliant sets! One of the best out there! So we’ll built and last for ages! The teeth are very sharp and go along way, I’ve had mine a year drilling fairly often and still going strong

Bits and hole saws from armeg are some of the best valued out there (besides maybe Bosch). Good quality, durability and price.
Need to invest in a whole set really.

I’ve been using Armeg acceler8 holesaws for just over a year, they are absolutely brilliant for sheet metal. Specifically good for metal trunking and distribution boards.
They drill a very neat hole and do not over-size like most other normal holesaws.
Cost could do with being lower as it’s a consumable item, but careful use ensures we get our money’s worth from them.

The best hole set I have had yet. Great for distribution boards, cut fast and don't fall in hole after cutting it. Would definitely recommend.

These are great little hole cutters. Perfect for cutting out neat holes in distribution boards. Will eat through that steel no problem at all!

A great hole cutter. Nice and small it fit in to small areas and can also be used in my smaller drill I keep in my tool bag unlike others with a larger fitting arbour. Cuts neatly and stays sharp for ages!

The thinner blades cuts down drill time and creates a much cleaner cut in metal.
The shorted shank helps get you into tight spaces. Have recently gone and bought all the sizers available. Worth the wedge !

Great quality product that has proved its worth time and again. Really fast clean cut, frequently used to cut gland holes in metal clad fuseboard and delivers every occasion, happy to recommend to anyone with the need for it

Brilliant hole saws as I'm forever wasting time digging out metal from my saws. Also the expanded base means no more follow through into cables when drilling holes in existing consumer units every electrician should have this in their drill box!

I really love these holesaws. Nothing gets through faster and they're built to last if you look after them. Need to get myself the full set.

these hole saws are great , really like them I have a few different sizes , I wouldn't be without them I've tried the cheaper alternatives and they don't compare .

Great product used all the time to cut in consumer units and back boxes but something needs to be done on grubbing screw on side it does becomes loose very easy

just brilliant for cutting out holes in consumer units. cuts through the metal casing like a knife through butter. And the spring pushes the cut out away without any trouble.

Bought a triple set 20mm, 25mm and 38mm. Great set. Cuts with ease. Handy spring on drill bit to remove waste.
Only 4 star for build because spring can ping off.

Simply put best hole saw for cutting panels you can buy. The design means they will only go In so far stops you ramming a hole saw into a cable. Don’t use for plastic or wood

Love the Armeg range, high quality at a really high price. Saves a lot of time and the holesaw's last a long time. Only downside is the price.

good cutter only thing I would say is not really good with Pvc, tendency for pvc to get stuck in the cutter...................................

Love these especially when hole cutting into metal trunking with existing live cables installed as they don’t penetrate to far in as the lip stops that from happening.

These holesaws are brilliant, make drilling into sheet metal a dream, very well designed. I just wish changing the arbour was easier if you snap it (by been clumsy not poor quality) as I have a few hooesaws with hundred more holes left in them with broken arbours

A very expensive piece of kit if only last a few girls used it on modular buildings and would often go through three and one house when they were brand-new they will be brilliant at drilling more as soon as the drillbit snapped you can’t replace it so have to get a new one or use a different drillbit then put the Also back in very inconvenient but If drilling through Sheetmetal once or twice then really good

These are very good for hard plastics and ceramic materials but was disappointed with metal cuts even with cutting compound, they are only recommended for 1 to 2mm sheet steel as well.

These are brilliant. They cut through metal consumer units in no time at all. And with the spring to push out the circle makes for easy cleaning!! Too notch!!!

Reccomended to me by a sparkie. So took it with a pinch of salt. But I can say. I'm really impressed with these. Could do with abit more variation in sizes. But great little drill bits.

Awesome little cutters, I’ve got the 20,25,32mm flies through metal cu’s and Gal box’s. I use cutting compound with mine and they are lasting very well.

One think tho the little spring on the 20mm went funny but I told um at Elex and they gave me a free one.

Used theses for the first time yesterday and they are the most fantastic hole saw I’ve every used so sharp and no need to clean the hole saw out again

These are the business. Got the set of three (20mm,25mm32mm) and I won’t use anything else of that size. The cut is superb, extremely clean and fast. Plus you don’t go through to the chuck end once through. Great product

Here we go again Armeg just a great product so quick and easy to use they have just got it right so simple to us and change a great spring for ejecting the waste

I have no idea how I’ve lived without this.

Ease of use! It can be used on trunking that has Live cables within as the hole saw stops after it penetrates.

It’s so far drilled around 340 holes!

Good product got a set of these a few weeks ago been used a few times and found they were very good better than my normal hole saws no need to hoke out the cut piece afterward as just ejected automaticly and make my job quicker and less of a pain. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great piece of kit. So much better than a traditional hole saw. Have easily cut 100 holes with mine and its still sharp as the day I bought it. More expensive than other holesaws, but with the speed of cut and longevity of sharpness, it's definitely worth the money.

Build quality is good great feels robust enough to do the job.

Ease of use is great. It will fit in any combi drill and impact driver.

Features a spring around the pilot drill which pushes out the waste from inside the hole saw.

Value for money is good though a little expensive. But after using you will see it pays for itself in time saving.

Bought one of these as left my starett on another job, very quick to cut through sheet steel and leaves a cleaner edge. Like the idea that they can be used in a impact driver. There a bit pricey but will have to see how long it lasts.

Brilliant holesaws to use on sheet metal particularly on the new AMD3 consumer units. Very quick cut nice clean holes with minimal sharp edges. Only downside is they cost on average £15 a holesaw
