Baxi IFOS
The Baxi IFOS in flue outdoor sensor is compatible with all Baxi combi boilers, it is an easy and cost effective way to comply with the requirements of Boiler Plus, when combined with a time and temperature control.
IFOS can be fitted to any horizontal flue, regardless of the aspect of the wall, because it fits under the air duct and is kept out of direct sunlight. And the cable runs back to the boiler through the flue air duct, so you won't have to drill any walls to route unsightly cables.

The best way I have found to comply with boiler plus regulations whilst keeping the system controls basic. Alot of my customers want to keep more simple controls and the weather compensation allows this to be possible. A great solution from Baxi.

I've used a lot of these as they are simple to fit and at only £25, a cheap way to comply with Boiler Plus. You must choose which customers you can fit these for. Older or less technically minded people may not like the reduction in radiator temperature on warmer days. Remember to set the curve setting and put the label on the front of the boiler to notify others.

Baxis clever way to get around the boiler plus, simple idea simply slot into the flue and feed a wire through the flue down into the boiler, job done, no need to face North North/West as it's under the flue out of direct sunlight. Pre assemble flue with this in place before fitting flue to boiler as it's fiddly to retrofit after. This allows the boiler to be more efficient by monitoring outside temps to adjust boiler output. Remember to set the temp curve after!

Great little product to comply with building regulations. Slightly fiddly to feed wire into flue but hard. Set boiler curve on commissioning job done.

Excellent idea just in practice for some older customers I find these a problem, it can be 'hot' to us outside but freezing to them which causes problems when they want the temperature up. An easy and cheap way to comply with boiler plus though.

Very easy to install, only 2 wires, and at £25 its a much cheaper alternative to supplying a smart controller. Just remember to attach it to the flue first before installing. Another good product from Baxi

Have used these on a few jobs now , Although easy to fit and a good price I have had a few customers complain that rad temps are “ not as hot as used to be “ so I’ve had to re adjust curve to higher than what it should be . Great product but think choice of customer to use with is important

I thought when regs changed it was going to be complicated and cost too much money and was worried would loose custom but baxi bringing this out isn't expensive and easy to fix by far easiest way to come up.to regs
