Designed for removing chrome plate from 15mm copper pipe. Click on and rotate and the files inside remove the chrome making the pipe ready for soldering.
The Monument 362W Pipe Ready Chrome Plate Remover quickly removes chrome plating and paint from 15mm chrome or copper pipe. It can also remove soldering drops, leaving it circular and ready for soldering or push-fit connections. Easy to use with a hard wearing and durable finish.
For paint removal, apply water while using to enhance performance.

Very pricey for what it does in all honesty. However a very good tool to have on board. Gutted mine went walkies and not managed to find anyone who stocks them

Here at Bodmin plumbing services find this tool to be a robust construction A little hard to use it first but once I got the hang of it is a smashing bit of kit quite universe and not just for chrome can be used on painted pipes as well

£29 for this tool, it’s good at stripping paint and cleaning up the pipe, just a little expensive for what it is.

Good idea in principle and decent for removing paint. But takes far too long removing chrome. Will end up being lost at the bottom of my box and i'll stick to using file.

This is the tool for the job in hand...Don't know how I managed before buying it. Great for cleaning up old pipes with paint on them...for removing chrome and old solder lumps.

The first time I used it I couldn't quite get the hang of it. However I now find it invaluable in the removal of chrome and also paint where i have cut pipe to insert a fitting.

Really handy tool no longer have to use a file or sandpaper to remove chrome of pipe before using in fitting.
