Worcester Greenstar CDi Classic

Fitted one of these in my own house, easy to install, had to use a vertical flue kit with it but that was easy to use too. The brand is a great brand, only ever had a couple of issues with these boilers, all very easy to sort. Parts are well priced and come with all the seals needed.

Having this boiler fitted tomorrow as recommended by my brother and mother who have both just had this boiler fitted, they wish they had changed boilers years ago, I’m looking forward to getting rid of the old one now

One of my favourite boilers as they are quick and simple too install. Servicing and repairs can be carried out with ease. parts are readily available.

I’m not a boiler basher but really not fan of these days be serviced 100’s and yes comes down to how well they have been looked after but the issues I’ve had with these I’ve not had with other brands there not the brand I push and will even try and stear clear of them the if I can

The ‘go to’ Boiler. Every heating engineer is familiar with the Worcester Cdi. Will cut your hands to shreds but easy to work on. The only improvement, a stainless steel main heat exchanger!

The best boiler on the market FACT. I’ve heard so many people who whinge about cutting hands and that. Never had an issue. I still service these that we installed over 10 years ago and not missing a neat spot on.

I like the cdi range of Worcester’s I have found them to be trouble free for a long time they are reliable and easy to use always find them to be vert quiet

Personally I’ve fitted a few. Mainly down to customers knowing the brand. Never had a problem with the boiler, they just are a little dated, and fairly expensive for what you get. Aftercare from technical is very good. Only issue is they are hard to work on when changing parts.

The mighty CDI Classic is Worcester's flagship range starting with the 29CDi which replaced the 30CDi. Build quality shows when installing this beast, it's heavier than other boilers out there. An absolute dream to install, service and repair. Upgrade the 5 year warranty to 7 years by simply fitting Worcester's filter kit, it's worth the small price difference from using a non Worcester filter. Touch wood never had a call back to one of my installed Cdi Classics.

They are Easy to fit, service and maintain...!a joy to work on.
A simple fan pressure test let’s you know if the heat cell needs cleaning out too.
Only downside is they are one of the most expensive boilers, but you do get quality. Would Highly recommend

This boiler is top of the range. Great reliable product, easy to install easy to use relatively easy to service. Aluminium heat exchangers are not my personal choice but provided that these boilers are serviced properly at regular intervals then it should not be a problem. All in all it’s a a tried and tested reliable product, a great choice although maybe a little bit overpriced.

This boiler is fantastic I am not a boiler engineer so did not install it but had it for a few months now and there is no comparison to my old one which was little over 15 years old

Build of the boiler is great, although not particular favourite having a ally main heat exchanger. Working on the boiler is very easy, simple enough to carry out full in depth services if required also. Features are a little pre dated as it’s not universal as such to benefit from using smart controls with the boiler to there full potential. I don’t think you get a great as much product for your money as others but it’s a brand you pay more for.

Love these boilers, serviced and looked after loads of them over the years, with very few issues. Good solid boilers. Well worth the investment

Great boilers and really easy to install, especially with the telescopic flue option. The Worcester is a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for ultimately.

Great little boilers with a good brand name, have fitted a few now with no issues and a good length warranty, would happily advise a customer to have one of these.

Fitted loads of these, never have issues. yes expensive, but you do get your monies worth. second to none on after sales service. not many boilers can touch this

After fitting a couple of these now in this range you can’t fault them to be fair. Bit on the high side price wise but your getting your monies worth.

Very efficient boiler. Another good product from the Worcester range. High output and upto 42kw so will cater for med to large households. Second to none after sales service. Great product

Easy to fit, easy to service and the backup from Worcester is outstanding

Although Worcester are a good boiler manufacturer, I’ve had a couple become faulty in the first 12 months of being installed. The after service is great and we’re fixed the next day, however they’re no longer my perferd boiler to install and maintain, unless requested by the customer. I’ve found other manufactures are far easier to strip down and work on which is a shame as Worcester used to be the best.

Excellent boiler from Worcester a brand that sells itself. Proven reliability from the CDI boiler range. The only downfall I find with Worcester boilers is they don't offer long guarantees like other boiler manufacturers .

This is probably my favourite of the new models, but I’m still not a fan, poor design for installation, poor design for maintenance, only ems-bus protocol, so very limited on controls, warranties are rubbish unless your a WAI, and I personally would want to put all my eggs in one basket, I have successfully managed to get my customers to switch to Intergas and they are so happy with my guidance.

The only Worcester that is worth installing if the current range. Fantastic build quality and superb performance . Backed up by the best support in the industry. Only down side is the hoops to jump through to become accredited

Great boilers. The thing I like most is everyone has heard of them so no need for the hard sell. They sell themselves and are super easy to fit, as are the controls

In my opinion one of the best boilers on the market. Easy and simple to fit. Good flow rate and can handle whatever you throw at it.

In my opinion this is the best boiler on the market. Good build quality and great aftercare from Worcester. Overall good product. It is on the heavey side which does make it difficult for loft installs if your on your own. This is the only down side.

Easy to install and easy to service. PRV is a nightmare to replace due to its location. A lot of sharp edges within boiler

Cdi Classic in my opinion is the best of the range . I have had no issues with any I've installed and I maintain a lot of ones I've installed too

Great boiler, good service back up, guarantee not a warranty on both parts and labour. As a Worcester Accredited installer we have fitted many of these boilers without any problems

Solid boiler that rarely needs fixing however when that left hand manifold does pin hole then because this is the larger of the Worcesters it is a breeze to fix and not crammed in. Brilliant bit of kit and my number 1 premium combi choice if space allows.

CDI Classic is by far Worcesters best boiler. Great build quality unlike the new compact range. Had very few issues with them over the years and when i have they are easy to work on. Slightly overpriced now with Worcester's price increase.

Best boiler on the market lovely to work on brilliant bit of kit. Fault finding on these is very easy and flow rate of dhw is amazing.
Some do have issues with the hex's splitting Worcester will replacing these if under ten years for free... they just won't fit them

They have plenty of knockers & haters but I spose that's what happens when you are the best.
Never had an issue with these boilers and we've installed 100's as the build quality is solid. Ok the plastic manifold can fail as we've been & repaired loads but not any of our installs as it's simple enough to fit a shock arrester to eliminate this. They are easy to install, use & maintain with lots of features such as being able to range rate the chentral heating output based on the size of the house & number of radiators. People say you for what you get so if people think the initial outlay is high, the after sales & backup service is awesome with probably one of the cheapest manufacturer's for parts - which aren't needed much if Installed & maintained correctly.

Would be nice to see less plastic and more metal . Very reliable. Being a Worcester I would say overpriced but customer support is second to none , which cannot be faulted

Rolls Royce of combi's. unrivalled guarantee and a dream to install. Very big but looks nice on the wall.
Fantastic features.

Fitted well over 150 of these boilers over the last 7 years. I think maybe 2 or 3 have had faults occur but Worcester have been out and dealt with the issues with no quarms. Great boilers and a great manufacturer.
