They had a problem with the 3mm snapping off, but it was replaced under warranty. Ideal for food safe environments, they look like they're brand new and I've had mine 10 years.

I have the multicolored sleeved ones of these aswell. I picked there up as sometimes the sleeves would stop the key going deep enough into the recess to reach the screw. Other than them not being as brightly coloured and easy to find in the kit bag they are every bit as good. I think I actually prefer using these ones. The retention holder has never let any keys go missing either

Best hex keys out there. I prefer the stainless steel to the standard carbon steel as they don't go rusty! I also keep a set in the car for adjusting the kids bikes. Great for work and DIY use and perfect for building IKEA furniture. The ball ends are great for tight spaces and the hold is amazing.

Best Allen keys I have ever used even beat snap on the hex plus feature is amazing even grip a rounded off fastener and the the round body makes them stronger stopping them twisting under high torque like other keys and being stainless no need to worry about rusting

Great keys. I have the coloured 9 piece as we as these as the coloured sleeve gets in the way. These pose no issues and do the job even if it takes a bit longer to find the right key

Hi guys. Mike here for Expert Trade, doing a review on the Wera Hex-Plus Allen Key Set. You can get these in several different finishes. This is a stainless steel. You can get stainless steel with a rubberized grip. You can get standard tool steel with rubberized grip, standard tool steel on its own or you can get multicoloured grips for easy identification of the Allen key.

Now, I'm not too fussed on that. I just really like the plain stainless steel. At the time, I purchased the Imperial set. You couldn't get stainless steel in them, so I ended up with the standard tool steel. They also come in a textile pouch or a rubberized case. I like a rubberized case, nothing falls out. Nice, you can open it up as well if you want to lie it flat. I cannot rave enough about this Hex-Plus system.

Wera claim this gives you 20% more torque, and they do have several patents on the design. I would totally have to agree. They also say it does reduce the chances of rounding off a fastener a lot more than a standard Allen key, which is good for me because I do a lot of work where I'm taking the same fastener in and out repeatedly. These are great. Even when I've come to a standard fastener, which a normal Allen key is slipping out of or whatever, I found these will still grip it as well.

I've lent them to guys before, and they've thought that it's a torque's key. I don't know if the camera will show you, but the head is slightly different to a standard Allen key. It curves in on the edges. It only delivers the force to the very points of the fastener. They are a brilliant set of keys. I've had several different sets over the years. I would never purchase another manufacturer's set after using these. I cannot rave about these enough.

Then, on top of it, they're only about £20 a set, which isn't the end of the world for what you're getting personally. I've had Snap-On sets before, and they're a lot dearer. I wouldn't buy another set again now having these. I do like these. I think they're brilliant, and I'd recommend them to anybody. If you're in the market for a new set of Allen keys, definitely go and get a set. You will not be sorry for paying the money. Thanks guys.
