Glow-worm

We have a glow worm boiler and although we didn't fit it, has served us well over the last 2 years. Have it regularly serviced by vaillant, who own glow-worm and the heat and hot water are fine. We live in an apartment and it services 8 radiators. By choice I would recommend vaillant and Worcester and when this packs in will probably swap yo one of them but working well.

Unfortunately not got much good to say about the boiler and especially the remote programmer, asked for help and the engineer that arrived told me not to use theres

Brilliant items used lots of there stuff cant fault it and not bad priced either would recommend to any to use in both domestic and commersial

I really like the boilers, very simple to fit and to work on. The only problem with glowworm is the after sales care, I always ensure I meet engineers on site because they always give the same answer to get out of the warranty, which in my eyes let’s them down massively.

Had a glow warm boiler installed at my house and it had more parts than I can begin to count. Not the best and had this replaced 8months on despite it being well cared for

Are used to fit lots or Glowworm boilers, but problems with GS Poaching my service work I switch my Allegiance to viessmann, Glowworm don’t have any good boilers left in there product range after dropping the ULTRACOM2

Over the last few years I have been fitting the Energy range,
The training course is worth going on and the boiler itself is easy to work on and servicing is a breeze.
Now with the filter included you can get 10yrs warranty.

I've had excellent customer service from Glow-worm, my local rep has helped me out and is always on the other end of the phone if needed. Not had any major issues with boilers. Great value for money.

I’m still waiting for a call back from customer service from 1996. I tell my customers all cheap boilers work out of the box , some even last a few years . Used to be a good brand now unfortunately it has changed

I have fitted a few of the Ultimate and Energy boilers, although look good with the case on, the controls on the front of the boiler are hard for the customer to use against other makes, the filling loop is not easily accessible and I am always getting calls about which valve to turn, there isn't much room to get the valves fitted on the boiler and this has to be done by turning the boiler upside down and fitting prior to hanging on the wall, I can see issues here when the washers age and leak. The control panel flap is flimsy with plastic hinges that easily break, I can see these lasting too well if the boiler is serviced annually. The Baxi 600 knocks spots of this boiler with its stainless heat exchanger and is a no brainer, if you want the 10 yr Ultimate warranty the Logic Max would be better for the end user its a lot easier to use.
