Used a lot of there fixing products over the years.
Find most of them easy to use, but a bit over priced for smaller jobs.
Very good for bigger heavy projects.

Hilti over all are probably the best brand for quality tools. I leased the FX90 first fix nail gun from them for 3 years and I never had a real problem with it, £25 a month included the gun, charger and batteries, and also the services for the gun. So easy to use and the customer services was great if I did ever have a problem. Great Brand and great tools.

Hilti is the top of the pile as regards quality. I find the ergonomics of tools excellent. The older stuff was pretty much indestructible (25-30yrs ago) I actually still have some of my first powder actuated nail guns still in service. I have well over a dozen Hilti products. The newer drills/light breakers have electronic chips built in that shut down to protect the tool after a pre determined amount of hours of used. These cannot be re-set by a regular service engineer, you must return them to Hilti to have then serviced and reset electronically. The cost for this is very expensive as anyone who's delay with them before will know. They are very well designed and made bit this hidden charge with the monopoly on servicing would make me think twice when purchasing breakers next time. The angle grinders, cordless drills etc don't have this chip, it seems to be light medium and heavy duty breakers that have this system. So I would look towards Makita or similar brand for these.

Hilti tools are quality tools. They make some very good heavy duty tools for drilling as well as making some of the best fixings I’ve ever used. I also own a pd5 laser measure and I use it daily and it’s never let me down for accuracy.

Honestly this brand is great but the only thing is the price tag. It’s the Porsche of the tool world. If you get chance to own any of this kit you are simply blessed. I used some during my apprenticeship and it’s well worth the coin.

Can’t rate this brand highly enough they have the best fixings about in my opinion and the tools are second to none gets the job every time used a lot of tools but these are up there with the best

Even with the exorbitant prices they are good value. The only brand to trust for heavy work. If only I had more kidneys to sell. TE500 AVR is the business.

My go to brand when it comes to heavy duty power tools. They’re very well built with long lasting batteries even on the lower 12v range.

Alas, please introduce a Multi-Tool to your range!

To coin the phrase from the Stella Artois adverts, Hilti are "reassuringly expensive". Their reputation for tough, dependable tools is enough to convince me that paying that little bit extra makes all the difference.

Great tools for every need diy small around the house jobs or commercial use being outstanding in there performance battery life and reliability cost does not bother me with this brand as I no what I am getting

I am in my 50’s and l learnt my trade as a builder from my father. One of the tools l thought was really cool when l was a teenager was my dads Hilton Gun.
We did lots of work on farm buildings so having a tool that could fix timber to steel was very handy.
The tools have moved on a lot since the 1970’s but l still have the original one my dad owned, l do also have a modern version.

This is a really good and reliable brand of tools they do cost a little bit more but they are very much worth so go ahead and check the tools out for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

These are the flagship company for power tools more of a investment for tradesmen than a stepping stone till another version comes along like other brands, they come at a price but a customer service to suit. Highly recommended if you can afford it

Hilti are top of the range for customer service. I’ve heard they have a good repair service, they will collect the tool then return it within a couple of days. Expensive to buy. It quality and grey customer service

Hilti is a fantastic brand and the power tools won’t let you down. I’ve had the impact and cordless in the past. In fairness I didn’t treat them very well but they never let me down. On the pricey side but if your looking to invest in yourself and your tools, then I would consider them.

I have a number of Hilti tools, they are rugged, last forever and are very expensive, from the range I have drills, power actuated toolsbut I wouldn’t use anything else

Best breaker drill I have ever owned, great for chiselling tiles and great for breaking concreat. Saved hours of back breaking work. Heavy, but does the job its supposed to do.

Top products. I was given the breaker and 36v drill as an apprentice which was used daily by my boss and then I had them for years. Still going strong. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I once had a T72 hammer drill, bought from new, never let me down, that is right up until it's dying day in a cloud of smoke and a display of pretty colourful sparks 15 years faithful service in all conditions & weather I've had 5 sds drills since not one a patch on the t72.

Brilliant brand with great tools wouldn’t use anything else. They don’t feel cheap, would be lost without these tools everyday. Great value for money with massive savings to be found. Customer support is 10/10 emails answered quick and efficiently!

If you want the premium on a brand and customer service with great aftercare for the professional or any level of buyer then this Hilti beats all others by a mile. Their range is Heavy Duty with prices to match but the performance is awesome.

Absolutely amazing build quality plus easy to use most of their tools, I would definitely purchase more of their Tools in the future, The most recent one I have purchased is a Hilti TE 700 AVR SDS Max Medium Breaker Demolition Kango 110V , it is absolutely brilliant.

By far the best option you can go for when it comes to any drilling or breaking needs. These products especially the kango wipes the floor with anything else I have use with makita being the only brand getting close.

I've got the 36v sds drill, 22v impact driver, 22v combi drill, 3000 lumin 22v light and site radio. Each tool is designed to be used on site without worrying it's going to break, very reliable and robust bits of kit.

Proper tools. Good quality well built professional equipment with a comprehensive range and assessories to suit all industries with a good smooth power delivery. With acustomer service second to none I would recommend these tools to anibody who can afford them.

Hilti the name says it all. I have various products and all are the best quality money can buy. I recently replaced my breaker after 14 yrs of hard graft which is still fixable but opted to purchase new one to keep old as back up. Would use no other brand for demolition. Are expensive but worth the money.

Great quality tools and first class service. Their after sales service is first class with 2 years warranty on most tools . Battery life is top quality to .

Proper top quality tool brand. They are bulletproof own a few drills and impacts etc and I’ve had them for years. The new bigger batteries last for ages. Yes they are expensive but a good investment

Hilti products have been something I’ve not owned personally but have hired over and over again as they are top quality and so heavy duty!
I would buy all the products they produce if I could justify it!
But they are really expensive!
They are well worth the money and have amazing build quality!

OMG my dad used to say right tool for right job - all these multi functional drill are good in their own right but I’ve learned that if u need a specific hard job then get the correct tool - brought a hilti sds hammer drill as my other ‘quality expensive’ drills couldn’t go through this particular concrete wall and the hilti went through this wall like a knife through butter it’s amazing the quality and ability are simply amazing

Hilti tools are above all quality long lasting tools. Although can be very expensive they really last the test of time my impact drill and driver kit has done ten years on the same batteries.

Great tools , quality feel too them and last a long time as long as maintained. The only downside too Hilti is the price. If they were more reasonable i would change all my kit over.

Great tools but they need to get a better range the quality is amazing customer service wasn’t the best the have a really nice feel to the tools and would defonetly recommend aslong as you don’t need to call customer services

Where tools are expensive they are well worth the money. All their drill bits last the rest of time even with rough use Overall brilliant kit

I have the sds drill 3 mode which is 22v and it is a very good bit of kit and have the combi drill and the impact driver which are good bits of kit as well. The only problem is you have to go to a Hilti shop to buy them or you can buy them on the Hilti app. If you contact them they will come out and give you a demo before you buy.

Hilti drills are brilliant in my opinion as a contractor working on commercial gas they give me the extra I need.
Only problem is I have to hire them as they a bit out of my price range.
If they sorted a competitive price then I would switch in an heart beat

If you’re looking for a bargain, look elsewhere. If your looking for a well made, reliable tool that gets the job done without any fuss, then this is the brand for you.

We have owned Hilti tools for many years now and they have always been very reliable, the quality is second to none. Our local rep Callum is great always drops in to see us if he can help with anything always on the ball and sorts us with anything we need. You’ll struggle to get that service anywhere else.
The only issue is the smaller range of tools but that’s not the end of the world as the quality can’t be beaten.
I’d recommend anyone getting in touch with Hilti and asking for a rep to come and see them onsite for some demos.

Great powerful drill, suitable for diameters between 50mm to 500mm. And depths of 100mm to 4 metres, possible more but that my deepest hole with this drill. Seams expensive against like for like competitors versions

Hilti the red and black tools great products across the the range but many with a high price tag
24/48 hr turnaround if a tool needs serviced / fixed.
Offer good deals on hire tools like doing a car pcp
24month hire etc

Seriously robust. So Hilti are one of if not the market leader for hard wearing tool. I mean their demolition hammers are virtually indestructible.

Hilti are probably one of the best tools on the market for durability where anniversary indestructible let me dropped everything you think are bored could do with a tool that can be done I have various range of tools in circle saw, drills ,sds drills of Hilti and I can’t I cannot fault the brand

Best tools on the market nearly indestructible I’ve got breakers galore their laser level for me is the best out there just bought another one that’s three we have now

Tools that are built to last, they can take anything you throw at them, a good bonus is the serial numbers on them are registered to you so if they do get stolen and someone tries to have them serviced they get returned to you

Very good quality tools. A little on the expensive side but for professional I can't fault the build quality. The rep comes to the factory to demo products so always felt looked after

I used the bolt gun while I was serving in the army the thing was a beast would blow through bridge sections with ease. Always wanted to try other products from there range just haven’t got to yet

Nobody can compare to my hilti core drill, wall chaser and breaker the build quality,is second to none and they are just reliable. I know they are expensive but the price tag is worth it.

King of the power tools. Far too expensive but for the ones that I have I've never had a problem love the service and spare parts. If they could be a little cheaper and in line with their competitors they could rule the world

I have previously used hilti power tools and the only other brand I can find anywhere near it for quality is Milwaukee. Hilti tools are an absolute joy to use with plenty of power

Great pieces of kit. They do the job for what it is designed to do. Hard wearing bu they are expensive for what some of the tools are. And are quite heavy for the cordless tools

Proper tool!! There products can’t be match expensive but worth the money had few hilti power tools over they years and can’t fault any of them as long as you look after them and service them regular!! Even the power tool accessories are second to non!! If I could afford it all my tools would be hilti!

This is an absolute beast! Drilling, coring, chiselling it does it all.

Batteries last well and charge in a reasonable amount of time too.

Had an issue of a concentric chuck or shaft,

Called hilti at 9:30am, tool collected at 11:15am, tool returned, like new spotless with new chuck which I had damaged at 07:30 next morning having been to glasgow for repair! Not even sure how they managed it!

Used hilti for over 10 years now as I got fed up with replacing tools like Bosch that could cope with the workload
Best investments I’ve ever made and the service and product knowledge from the local stores is second to none
My oldest drill 10 years has just had a load of work done and was pretty much rebuilt but due to the fixed cost repairs it only cost £150 even though the parts were much more

3 working days guaranteed turn around on repairs or you don’t pay



I’ve given them a low rating on customer service as the head office are absolutely worthless and a real let down for the reps and store staff who go the extra mile only to be let down by customer services.

Great products and great after service, had my laser fail and they gave me a brand new one no questions!

I love there drill bits best on the market not use there drills much I do not really use anyother drill bit

Been using Hilton for over 40 years build quality customer service and ordering products has always been first class. We install some heavy stone so tools for concrete drilling area a must so get abused probably more than other makes. Repair service collection and delivery back is free and cost effective

Love my hilti drill and impact. Very expensive but great tools and outstanding customer service.
Just wish they had a multi tool that used the same batteries as the tools I have

Hilti is the top leading manufacturer in power tools I've had my hilti SDS now for about 7 years and it's still going strong

Top tools! Are on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for!
I've got a 110v core drill and it's a monster makes light work of coring walls which is a sh#t of a job anyway! Used my mates drill a few times and then when using mine I realize how much better it is!

As the saying hoes you get what you pay for and the products that hilti do are great quality i have a water suppression bottle and have never needed to change anything. Excellent all round
