Really like the this drill but find the chuck poor
And drill bits always come loose even when tighten twice
When using 13mm drill bits the Chuck doesn’t seem open enough to fit the drill bit in
Normally put this down to chuck been old and worn but not had this drill long.

Very good drill, good battery life and compact enough not to get in the way, only issue I find is the Chuck, it sometimes locks up and other times doesn’t quite grip the bit effectively, other than that faultless after 18 months of use.

Had mine for over 5 years only just got a new one recently as the retaining screw snapped in mine due to the power, haven’t put the new one to the proper test yet but it seems to be doing just as well as the last

I have had this for four years now, and I had one warrenty claim on the Chuck as it locked up but I was asking it to do a job an SDS would have struggled with and abused it a bit too much. I reported the fault and it was collected from my house and then repaired and returned in the same week which was incredible.
I love the tool, robust. Comfortable to use for ping periods. Paired with a 3ah xc battery is ideal for a full days work.

Milwaukee don't make anything poorly. This drill is a great all rounder and if you pair it up with the right drill bits etc then you have a beast on your hands. I have lots of milwaukee tools and really vouch for them.

This product is really powerful and also my favourite colour which is red. Would highly recommend but make sure to hold properly as it is powerful

This Milwaukee combi cordless drill is definitely worth the run for its money! It’s made by a brilliant brand. It’s out performs any other big brand. It is very lightweight and easy to use. Wouldn’t go back to anything else now!! Would highly recommend to any new person getting tools

Highly recommend this got it as a set with the impact and 2 5.0ah battery’s it is the best drill in the workshop out performs all the other big brands.

More power than I'll ever need. The best drill I've ever owned. Being a car mechanic I never thought I'd need a drill this advanced but now I find it invaluable. From general drilling jobs on cars to the time I had to drill 24 20mm holes through two courses of 60 year old brick it hasn't missed a beat. Highly recommended.

Great drill with lots of power. I got one of these in a kit and I take it with me on every job. The option to have the handle attached makes it safer to use.

Great powerful drill, ideal for metal, plastic, wood and light masonry. If drilling a lot of joists then can get very hot. Sometimes the Chuck can slip also. But a very robust drill.

Cannot beat this drill for performance, it’s simply amazing, light and just pure power. I love it so much more than any other brand I have tried

Just like all of Milwaukee tools, top quality. Maybe not the cheapest but always built to last, can’t fault them. Always worth paying for the fuel brushless version so make sure it’s that model.

Milwaukee are the best combi drills you can buy owned one for several years and never had a problem and haven't had to replace any batteries. Great value for money.

Had mine about three years, no issues , hammer action ok in softer materials but tend to use my SDS for most fixing in harder brickwork or concrete, use with the 4amp battery very good run time

Good drill metal chuck lots of power and very durable the 18volt batteries and great aswell. Ive used better drills tho but you do get what you pay for

Great drill, well built no known faults over the last few years. Batteries very easy to change.

Hammer action is very good, I tend too use ads for most drilling so this drill is used for screws and wood bits. Adding larger batteries in your kit helps.

Incredible bit of kit, use it for absolutely everything for mixing plaster and grout to drilling (up to 13mm) in conrete and other materials

Best money can buy in my opinion great tool will complete every task u throw at it. Withstands some abuse and a regular basis and still works and looks good. Great build quality and the torque and control of this gun is second to one

Had mine now for well over a year. Very good, powerful drill. Occasionally the chuck seems to get a bit stuck though. Hopefully a squirt of wd40 will sort it out.

Fantastic drill to use with plenty of power on all settings. Even for use when drilling masonry this packs a punch. Stops if the drill bit catches preventing an hand injury also

I mean you get what you pay for with power tools and Milwaukee are a little more expensive than some other brands but the build quality is top notch especially if you pay the little extra for the fuel version which this is. I want my tools to last these will! I've had mine for a while now just got a second one for the workshop that impressed by this thing! Probably will get a few more for some of the other lads.

Bought this drill by chance at a local tool fair is the best drill I have ever used powerful battery life is very good no problem on hammer with a good choice of battery power range from 1.5ah to 9.0ah

You have to be kidding!! There are 3 premium brands on the market and I could not believe how far ahead of the pack this drill is. Always thought that the price could not justify buying one however it is so superior, there is every chance that over time, I will migrate 100% to Milwaukee.

Best drill available on the market, extreme amounts of power and feels almost indestructible. I always use it with 5ah battery's and find they last for hours with constant use.

Again a very good tool. You can’t beat Milwaukee. Good weight to it and very powerful. Amazing break on it as well almost instant stop. Used it for 3 years now cutting down Lights into plasterboard get it covered in plasterboard dust every day no problem

Had this drill for a while now and simply cannot fault it.
As said the chuck can have a mind of its own but if you keep it lubricated then it doesn’t give much trouble.
Very light to use although this doesn’t compromise the power, very powerful for its size and a lot more robust than its competitors around the same price, battery power is good too especially when using 5.0a m18 batteries

My first Milwaukee power tool and it didn't disappoint, comfortable to hold and very powerful. Led lights are great to help you see when in darker situations. Would highly recommend!

Great Drill with loads of power. Strongly suggest the 5ah batteries with the quick charger. Already mentioned by a few others below the only thing that let's this drill down is the chuck which hasn't yet been improved as I've just got another one!

Fantastic drill strongest cordless I’ve ever used . Chuck can stick or slip tho have purchased a few milliwalkiee tools I. The last few years never regretted that

Chuck is a massive issue, getting locked and having to use grips is a pain. When in use though it has a mass amount of power. On low speed 38mm wood bit fly’s through.

Replaced like for like after being stolen, I liked this drill that much. Managed to get the combi pack with impact driver too at a special price from merchants. Keeps going and going, 5ah batteries charge in 45mins. Only issue is chuck is extremely sticky, used on hammer drilled a few holes for plugs in concrete block, had to get my grips out to undo chuck to get bit out. If problem persists may send back as has extended 3 year warranty and its only about 3 months old. Other than that, highly recommend.

Great quality drill compared to some, the one key feature is pretty good and gives you a bit of revenge if they were stolen

Best drill on the market at the minuit. This drill have been well and truly abused by me. I have dropped it a lot and every time it still works. Most drill get too hot and you have to stop using when after a bit this one does not it's happy to be used all day. Would highly recommend it

Thought it was a bit expensive when i bought the product but has since proved to be very good value for money. Never left me down and a very powerful machine

Great drill I use it most days for drilling joists, floorboards and tiles. The metal chuck has started to jam up which is annoying.

Great drill, really powerful for it's weight, was scared I was going to wreck a solid oak door while drilling out for the latch the first time I used it! I use a 2amp battery most of the time for small work to save on weight but up it to the 5amp when needed. Small niggle developing with the trigger but otherwise love it.

Good value for money and good build quality and has some good features and you pay for what you get good battery life with the 5.0amp power battery

Bought this drill as part of a 6 piece m18 fuel set drill is an animal extremely powerful drills wood with ease but beware must use side handle in 1st gear it has so much torque it will break your wrist if used incorrectly very durable tool my only dislike is when hammer drilling it is so loud you need ear defenders on but overall great tool.

Great drill. O have however had to replace the chuck as it got stuck open. Other than that great powerfully drill

After always being a dewalt man I have recently taken the plunge and gone over to the red side.
It feels quality, has all the power you could need and with 5ah batteries lasts for an age.
I was also super impressed with how quickly the batteries charge up.
If truth be told I find the one key function a bit of a gimmick but I guess it. Pups be useful to someone doing more accurate work.
I would highly recommend this and I will be expanding my range of Milwaukee tools.

After watching countless reviews I plumped for the 18V FUEL. Worth every single penny. So much better than the likes of Makita and Dewalt who I used for 9 years

I have had this product for quite a few years now and it's never failed, Makita are are fantastic brand in my opinion and have a great range of tools available, I will continue to by there products as they have great build reliability.
