Used for holding TRVs when changing rad valves or draining radiators. Well designed as it will not mark the TRV chrome body.

Review for Monument Tools 2065F RadWrench
Replies for Monument Tools 2065F RadWrench
Although made of a plastic type I have not yet snapped or broke one of these.
They don't mark the valves & really help to get a compression fitting up right so no leaks.
Can't be without this now when fitting radiators

I brought this as a gimmick not really believing it had a place or a need. However when working on nice chrome or white valves it stops you from gripping them and scratching the new valves. Otherwise it’s had little use

Perfect little tool for the job, lightweight and bright so easy to find in the bottom of the tool bag/box. I’ve had this for over a year it hasn’t broke, it’s very rigid and I’m sure will last for years.

This is another example of how monument have produced the perfect tool at the perfect price. Some people think that because it’s plastic then it’s cheap and will break, well it is cheap, it won’t break, but if it does then I would rather that then the valve, and if it were to be metal then it could possibly mark up the valve. I love this tool, it works, it’s cheap, job done.

I have exactly the same set but metal. Better constructed and less likely to break. Plastic is to flimsy for things like this.

I used to use a big set of grips to support my valves when tightening the nuts but always marked the valves. These have been great, they dont leave any marks on th valves and give a really good grip. Would recommend to anyone and will never not have a set.

One of those tools you think is daft but comes up trumps. No marks when using and holds rad valves nice and steady white cracking the nut.

Love this tool. Makes changing rad valves so much easier. Feels a bit plasticy but it's solid. Not come across a valve I can't use it on yet either.

A great idea, simple but effective, will not mark expensive chrome valves. Good value product, should have got one years ago !

Bought this and thought it was a bit gimmicky but have used is loads, holds the valve securely allowing you to tighten without damaging the valve body.
