Monument 173 Stiffnuts Pro Kit (10 Piece)
Monument 173 has been especially designed for removing stiff backnuts from awkward placed taps and to make tap installation a more rapid process, this tool is for 1/2-inch. BSP and 3/4-inch. BSP taps. The Monument 170 tool stays in position on the tap tail so can be used with one hand and uses mechanical advantage of the thread of the tap tail to remove stiff nuts.
Ideal for 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch BSP 25 mm 27 mm nuts 29 mm ribbed 32 mm nuts. The MON173 is complete with 3/8-inch cordless drill adaptor, 1/2-inch square drive, extension tube and full user instructions.

As you expect solid build easy to use if you cannot shift with hands can use cordless drill plenty connections for different types of taps cost a little more than the average but save time plus ease of work money well spent

Super fantastic bit of kit, I personally hate bath taps, well I did, now I look forward to them, so I can get my sexy new set out, I seriously show it off at every opportunity that I get, I know I’m becoming a monument fan boy. But how can you not be, when they constantly keep reinventing the wheel. It’s hard to keep up With the amount of amazing tools that they keep releasing, all designed get you out of trouble. Love love love my stiff nuts.

Fairly expensive but are a lifesaver, especially on cast iron bath taps. Not failed me yet. Different size adapters to fit different nuts.

If your struggling with taps. This is the set you need. These are life savers. They are abit pricey for what they are. But they've saved me on more than one occasion.

Hi all. Thank Vic Mullan for your much appreciated nomination. Think I'm going to call out Steven Lightfoot. You know, I think it's your time to shine.
But for me I've got me Monument Stiffnuts. Made my life so much easier just doing taps and back mounts. So you got your box. In there you get your main bar, your extension, and your different array of attachments. It's that simple.
If you're not simple, you've got quite a bit of instructions. So tapping attachment. Take your main valve in the size that you need. This in there. That should go straight up. Because of that size, you get a real good real good grip to get a real good turn on it. You got holes in there to run a screw driver in there or a bar if you need it. You've got the extension which can sit in like so. Sit in. And if you're really struggling and you still can't get it off, you got a drill attachment that just sits in like so. Bang your drill on. Unwind it. No problem. Got attachment for a socket. This just, I can't fault it. It's made my life. An apprentice every now and again likes to get his hands on my Stiffnuts. I don't know why. But, yeah, I can't fault it. It has made life so much easier. So, check it out. #askmonument
