Great product. I keep mine in the glove box of my van and offer card payment and payments made via phone through apple pay.

I received this about a week ago. Im technically challenged so got it wrong a few times but Im up to speed with it now. Good rates and fast payment is a good attribute

Easy to set up and does what it says on the box . Fast payout into the bank as well which is even better so all in all a great buy for the money

We have just brought this from expert trades, the reviews sound fantastic, everyone agrees it's a good bit of kit, so I will re review next week when we put it into action

Great bit of kit for payments but the screen is dated with a LCD block display fairly chunky/bulky compared to other readers out there and not Great for work sites as it has a glass top which they don't cover if it breaks.

Great card reader to keep in the van and always handy to be able to offer to take card payments. Great value for money, also great how you can send receipts to customers too!

Ideal to keep on the van for those late night call emergency outs when you need to take payments. For the cost and percentage that they take of the payments you’d be silly not to get one.

Great bit of kit. I can take payment immediately, reducing the need to chase invoices.
Links directly to my business account. Very easy.
Only downside is it doesn’t link with my Munbyn Bluetooth receipt printer. Otherwise ***** 5 stars

Had this machine for over a year in my van. Never needed to charge it with USB and battery is still on about 50%.
Seems to be the cheapest in terms of fees.
No issues with transactions, go through, instant receipt to client.
Clients seem to be pleased and surprised that we carry card machines and is better than waiting for a cheque to clear and clients don’t always like having cash.

Sum App and handheld device is the best I have used. Easy to set up and start taking payments. Customers love convenience and money in the bank within 3 working days. Easy to send receipts as well

As others have said a well built unit. Large enough to use with ease and small enough to carry around. Allows payment by most modern payment methods and unlike others I've tried, the payment is into the bank quite quickly. The lack of contract and reasonable percentage charge make it more attractive to small businesses. All in all would recommend it. The only downside isn't the fault of sum up, it's use can be frustrated by a lack of mobile signal.

Nice and light weight. Easy to carry around. Looks quite sleek and clean. Professional piece of kit. Low rates and fairly quick to transfer into my account.

Great little product. We got this on the Black Friday deal so got it at a really good price. Easy to use, small and portable. Connects via bluetooth. Lots of people like to pay by card now so all good.

Spent a little while looking for a card payment solution. I went with SumUp because I didn’t want to pay a monthly subscription as I’m not taking card payments that regularly. When I do use it it it’s great. Simple to use, payments seem to come through in about 7 days. Would highly recommend

Great piece of kit. Easy to use and reasonably quick transfer of funds to your bank account. Switched from using a merchant bank account and pdq machine which was costing me a minimum fee of £45.00 per month. With this setup you only pay per transaction.

bought the sump due to customers asking if i take credit cards for invoice payments and lost jobs in the past. the no contract is a bonus and low 1.69% fee per transaction

For the price of it and the fact there’s no contract it’s a great piece of equipment to have in the van. Really easy app to use as well.

got a really good deal on this, only paid less than a tenner, lowest cost for transactions, easy to set up but need 3g, 4g or wifi to be able to do the transaction

i do seem to have a cap on mine though when i take so many payments it tells me i cant take no more till its cleared

2 faults one if no 4G on phone cant take payments so if your in middle of nowhere you have had it also cant take payments over the phone but will no monthy fees this is the one for me

This is a great device to enable customers to pay by credit or debit cards, it works through a app on your smart phone, you get paid within a few days direct to your bank account.
Only problem is it doesnt work if you dont have a 3G or 4G signal or the ability to connect to wifi. If your out in the sticks it may be tricky.

Customers always comment on how easy and good it is, highly recommend this.

Very simple to set up and use, a great device to have as customers rarely carry cash now days and its nice to know the payment is done when leaving a job so your not potentially chasing for days.

Both the app and chip reader are easy to use, although I would of preferred actual buttons on the reader itself.

One of the cheapest fees per transaction. No monthly fee. Small and charge lasts a long time. Down side touch screen to sensitive for older people (I now count the beeps when they are typing the pin to make sure they don't press it to many times)

For the price this is a good way to collect money from customers quickly.
Money is in your bank within 48 hrs with one of the lowest transaction rates on the market.
The only issue we have had is the touchpad is too sensitive for some of our elderly customers to put their PIN number in which can be frustrating.
