The innovative top control bar allows you to install the window lower than an equivalent top-hung operated roof window to get an excellent view while standing and when seated. We recommend centre-pivot windows if you have to, or wish to, place your window in a low position, for instance: in rooms with a low ceiling or where you’d like a better view of the surroundings below.

Just had to fit a smoke ventilation window on some flats we are renovating,,I chose Velox because they have a good reputation and range of sizes , so they had just the product for the job,, the one I chose also came with alarm panel, break glass and smoke sensor,,, satisfied building control so very happy

With velux you get what you pay for. Really easy to fit lots of options you can have. Wether it’s motorised opening,a multitude blinds and sensors for automatic closing if it’s raining.

Always a quality product. Well thought out with options for angle of plasterboard cheeks. Straightforward fitting with numerous options for tile flashings mean there’s one for most applications. I’ve only had one that had a fualty catch which was replaced without issue.

By far best roof windows out there. Have fitted other brands but have had some kind of issues with each usually down to seals
Would definitely recommend velux although not the cheapest I believe you get what you pay for

The best roof windows I have personally installed. Easy instructions, and good quality parts. Follow the instructions and you'll get a good fit, with built in insulation instead of having to fit your own around it. Easy and intuitive adjustments to get it square/straight and easy to get windows in and out of frame. Centre pivot making them easy to clean too. The accessories such as the blinds are all good quality, easy to fit and work well. Haven't had any issues so far

I picked up the largest they make, thought it was going to be a real struggle to fit but only took a few hours. Hardest part was getting it up the stairs. Very easy fitting instructions, quality piece for any roof or loft.

These can be a bit pricey but they are the best in my opinion. Well made and easy to fit once youve done one and got the hang of it.

I have 2 of these in my own home, I’m personally very happy with the windows, top quality, never had a leak, cyst sound out very well, so easy to use, it feels like a quality window, easy to clean, top marks apart from price, but you get what you pay for.
